The 5 Best Kinesiologists in Melbourne Who’ll Help You Take Your First Step Into Healing

  • Facilities -  Do they offer a comfortable space for the treatment? Is their clinic clean and well-organized?
  • Kinesiology Services
    • Expertise - Are the treatments effective? Is the overall experience relaxing and helpful?
    • Variety - Are there a variety of treatments available at the clinic? Are they good at targeting different pain points?
  • Customer Service - Can they manage their lines and schedules well? Are they responsive to customer inquiries?
  • Accessibility - Is it easy to locate the clinic? Are they open at convenient times throughout the week?

At this point, it’s no secret that a lot of us live sedentary lifestyles. I mean, I’m guilty as charged, with the amount of time I spend just hunched over a desk trying to write or sorting through something or other.

But it’s not good for our bodies to stay inactive for too long, and it’s times like this where it’s important to get up and get your blood flowing again. When getting up for bathroom breaks or to get myself coffee wasn’t cutting it anymore, I started looking into kinesiology.

Kinesiologists in Melbourne typically take a more holistic approach, using techniques such as muscle testing to identify physical, emotional, and stress-related imbalances in the body. The goal isn’t just movement or exercise, but supporting overall wellbeing and helping the body return to balance, which was really appealing to more than a few of my friends.

After dropping by a few around town, here are our favorites.

How much does it cost to go to a kinesiologist in Melbourne?

A visit to a kinesiologist can cost you anywhere from $125 to $190 per session, depending on the length of time of the session and any treatments and exercises needed to get a read on your body.

Joelle Corbett of Universal Healing Wellness is a Melbourne-based practitioner offering a holistic approach that blends kinesiology, spiritual counselling, and energy healing. Her practice is centred on helping clients uncover and release deeper emotional, mental, and energetic blocks.

Her kinesiology services in Melbourne focus on accessing the subconscious mind through muscle testing to identify the root causes of issues. This allows sessions to go beyond surface symptoms and target underlying imbalances affecting overall wellbeing.

A key strength of her approach is the combination of multiple healing modalities, including auric healing, clairvoyance, and vibrational techniques. These methods are designed to work together, creating a more comprehensive and layered healing experience for clients.

Joelle’s work often centres on releasing past trauma, including patterns linked to both current life experiences and deeper emotional imprints. The goal is to help clients move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional freedom.

Her sessions are also highly personalised, with the body guiding which areas require attention during each visit. This tailored approach ensures that each client’s healing journey progresses at a pace suited to their individual needs.

Another notable aspect is her focus on supporting clients across multiple levels, including physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual wellbeing. This whole-person approach is especially beneficial for those seeking a more integrated path to healing rather than isolated treatments.

When it comes to kinesiology in Melbourne, it’s hard not to mention Conscious Kinesiology. It landed on our radar after locals from South Melbourne and more swore by it.

The first thing we noticed was the easy location. There was plenty of street parking available around the area, which was convenient since we drove ourselves there. For customers without their own vehicle, public transport was also just around the corner.

While visiting, we got to chat with a couple of the clinic’s regulars and heard pretty good things. The consultation sessions were reportedly great, with customers getting to glean much information about their bodies and stressors throughout.

We were also pleased to hear that Conscious Kinesiology offered online sessions and consultations, allowing customers to practice from their own homes if they were more comfortable.

That being said, these sessions do not come cheap as we noticed. The price per session was slightly higher than at other clinics.

This goes hand in hand with their limited session days. Only twice per week can make it a bit of a long-term commitment with a high price tag. We’d recommend trying a consultation first to see if it works for you before committing outright.

Pros

  • Professional and informative consultations
  • Easily accessible location
  • Online sessions available

Cons

  • High costs per session
  • Limited days open for sessions

Taught me techniques to help manage the stress

“Renee is brilliant! As a parent of teens, life can be stressful. Renee helped me understand what I was feeling and taught me techniques to help manage the stress. She was also brilliant with my teenage son. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

– Ms. Natalie Withington, Google Review

Massive improvement right after the first session

“I noticed a massive improvement right after the first session. I’ve tried a lot of different treatments before that and none of them worked, Renee’s approach did. Thank you so much!”

You know the saying about how it’s better to bend and not break? Kinesiology is often described that way by practitioners and clients who work with Bend Like Bamboo, a clinic known for its structured and holistic approach to wellbeing.

Founded by Amanda Campbell — a Sports Kinesiologist with over 13 years of clinical experience and 16 years in full remission from Multiple Sclerosis (MS) — the practice reflects both professional expertise and lived experience in managing complex health conditions.

The clinic offers kinesiology programs designed to assess clients and identify underlying stressors, patterns, and imbalances that may be contributing to physical or emotional discomfort. Alongside this, they provide coaching support to guide clients through a personalised and structured healing process.

A key strength of Bend Like Bamboo is the depth and clarity of its program framework. Their offerings include the HEAL program for chronic illness and autoimmune conditions, the THRIVE program focused on executive burnout and leadership support, and a Foundations six-month online course. These are underpinned by their proprietary BAMBOO Method, a six-pillar framework designed to support long-term physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing.

What stands out is the level of personal attention and responsiveness from the team. They take the time to clearly explain each program and its structure, which helps clients make informed decisions about their care. This is particularly valuable for those new to kinesiology or exploring holistic approaches for the first time.

Clients we spoke with also highlighted the highly personalised nature of sessions, noting that recommendations are tailored closely to individual needs. Regular progress summaries are provided, allowing clients to track changes and understand their development over time in a clear and structured way.

In terms of accessibility, the clinic is known for being flexible and accommodating with scheduling, particularly for clients managing chronic or fluctuating health conditions. While sessions are structured, the team is generally understanding when it comes to rescheduling where needed, and works with clients to maintain continuity in their care journey.

Pros

  • Proactive and responsive communication
  • Regular summary reports are given
  • Personalized treatment recommendations

Cons

  • Can be busy

When we talk about kinesiology, it’s hard not to bring up holistic health. It came as no surprise to us then that Holistic Health Melbourne became popular among those interested in kinesiology in the area.

What we found there didn’t disappoint. The clinic offered a staggering range of kinesiology treatments, from classic holistic kinesiology to more focused programs in sports kinesiology and chronic pain management.

One thing we heard particular praise for was their treatment plans. We got to chat with some regulars at the clinic, and quite a few were happy to share their strong focus on identifying and alleviating problem areas.

This was reportedly done through a balance of theoretical and practical applications, spanning tests and actual exercise routines. If you’re looking into a clinic to help you get a start on understanding kinesiology, this might be a good pick.

On the other hand, a few regulars said the biggest delays they experienced were in confirming appointment dates. This could cause sessions to get delayed or cancelled entirely, so we’d advise consulting closely with the team just in case.

We also noted limited practitioners and staff in the clinic, which may mean you have to wait before you get seen for an appointment or session.

Pros

  • Wide range of treatments available at the clinic
  • Good balance between theory and practical applications
  • Thorough treatment plans

Cons

  • Difficulty confirming appointment dates
  • Limited practitioners

I like the variety of her high quality treatments

“Karen is delicate, attentive, caring and really understands your needs. I like the variety of her high quality treatments: EMDR, kinesiology, reiki, visualizations… We always start with personal affirmations and goals.”

– Ms. Coraline Bucquet, Google Review

The course content was so thorough

“The course content was so thorough and so appropriate for the type of energy work we were learning about. The two days completing reiki 2 was a beautiful mix of theory and practical.”

Who says exercise doesn’t go with rest and relaxation all in one building? Trinity Curated Wellness became popular among folks looking not only for kinesiology but also for an all-around clinic to warm up and cool down after.

Our visit showed us their neat and well-maintained facilities, from the actual training rooms for classes to their specialized bathhouse and sauna for relaxation.

Trinity’s offerings largely covered kinesiology group classes and therapy. A few clients let us know that regular group classes were the norm, making it handy for those who want to practice with friends or other people in general.

We were also surprised to find that their costs per session were quite reasonable, especially for the length of time these sessions span!

That being said, we couldn’t quite extend that to their packages and offers. These tended to be on the pricier side for more classes and access to some of their facilities, whether for yourself or for gifting to a loved one.

Finally, regulars also let us know that there was a long minimum commitment time to sessions. We’d advise only booking if you feel like Trinity’s approach is good for you and your wallet!

Pros

  • Well-maintained facilities and equipment
  • Regular group classes available
  • Reasonable prices per session

Cons

  • High cost for packages
  • Long commitment time to sessions

Perfect way to breathe, stretch, and reset

“I’ve absolutely loved my time at Trinity Curated Wellness. Mellow Yoga on Tuesday mornings with a couple of mates has become the perfect way to breathe, stretch, and reset after some tough strength sessions.”

– Mr. Riges Younan, Google Review

It’s so clean, gorgeous and relaxing

“The space itself is STUNNING – the owner Trinity took so much care in every detail. It’s so clean, gorgeous and relaxing. You feel immediately at ease, relaxed and restored. So deeply grateful for this space and for the time I spent here.”
