Leo’s Kingdom Party is unapologetically built for movement and jungle fantasies. They’ve got a four-storey climbing tower, mega slides, and monkey bars.
The place is really big. There are even trampolines, air cannons, and climbing walls where kids can launch themselves into adventure.
There are dedicated areas for older children, toddlers, and parents. Parents can sit nearby, which makes supervision manageable without hovering awkwardly in the play space.
We found the cafe a plus point too. They offer good coffee, fresh snacks, and fast service.
For those who want to bring some personal snacks and drinks, Leo permits that. That’s great news for families managing allergies or dietary preferences.
For parties, Leo can offer a lot. There are four themed rooms along with structured packages. That includes playtime, in-room hosting, and food options. Add-ons like mascots and themed decorations are also possible.
That said, a lot of people (including us) find their location a little hard to find. We wish their external signage could be more obvious.

Rainbow Town is spacious and packed with variety. Toddlers up to teenagers can find themselves entertained here. There are multiple slides, trampolines, bumper cars, arcade-style machines, and more.
One feature that stands out is their flexible entry. There aren’t strict time slots, so families can come and go during the day.
It also makes the price feel more reasonable since there’s no clock ticking in the background.
They take safety and cleanliness seriously here. The play structures are surrounded by soft padding, and all the equipment is well-maintained. The socks-only rule also makes sense for hygiene and grip.
There’s a cafe that serves Chinese dishes, burgers, snacks, and coffee. They can also host birthday parties. According to parents, the team really keeps parties running smoothly too.
It just feels odd that there are no toilets for kids. Steps are provided, but in a centre catering to very young children, proper toddler toilets would make more sense.
A lot of people also complained about the lack of heating. Because everyone has to remove their shoes, it can get cold, especially for adults sitting down while the kids run wild.

Climb N’ Play is an indoor playcentre in Melbourne that feels like two venues in one.
Nutty Heights is all about climbing, with 40 walls ranging from super easy to proper challenges.
Then there’s Acorn Adventure. It’s with slides, ball pits, shooting arenas, spider webs, and more.
Parents loved how safe, clean, and well-maintained all the areas are. Before kids get into the climbing section, staff members encourage and guide them through the climbing process with care.
We also found this a great indoor birthday party venue in Melbourne. The staff got a lot of praise for being flexible, friendly, and super organised.
They handle the room setup, food, and entertainment. The private spaces, like the disco room, make planning a special occasion straightforward and stress-free.
However, not all parents were totally satisfied with the party rooms, particularly their sizes. Larger groups, especially parties with over a dozen kids and accompanying parents, may find the rooms crowded and hot.

4. MiniTown Kids Party Play Cafe

MiniTown takes a very different approach compared to the usual trampoline or bumper-car setups. The real draw is how it mixes play with a bit of learning through imaginative role-play.
Kids can dive into a vet clinic, chef’s kitchen, beauty salon, supermarket, and more. On top of that, there’s a real ride-on train circling the central area.
Claw machines, moon bounces, and the toddler-friendly climbing wall can also offer a mix of creative and physical challenges.
We’re also impressed with how clean and well-designed the space is. It looks like an ice cream cake town with all the pastels.
It’s also easy to supervise children because the layout allows parents and caregivers to see all the play zones at once.
There’s also a cafe inside. According to the customers we spoke with, the foods are fresh and tasty. They’ve got kid-friendly options and barista-made coffee for adults.
There are a few drawbacks, mainly around pricing. Entry can feel expensive for just an hour of play. Extras like the train ride or claw machines also come with additional costs.

There’s everything that a little kid needs to be amused
“We took our niece for a fun day out and a fun day it was indeed! There’s everything that a little kid needs to be amused (she’s 2,5) there’s a slide and multiple ball/foam pools plus the icing on the cake – little princess dress up section. 100% recommended! We spent here 2 hours but could have easily done 5. Of course there’s a food section as well – reasonably priced too! For a kids nuggets and chips we paid 13,50.”

The main attraction at Tumbles Playhouse is its massive three-story play structure. It has tunnels, spiral slides, a Burmese bridge, and even ball pits.
There’s so much for kids to do that boredom isn’t really an option. The double astro slide is also perfect for little races. A lot of toddlers also loved their giant lollipop-themed jumping castle.
Tumbles really shines as a birthday party spot. The party room is colourful and themed. We’ve heard that the staff are super helpful and flexible with bookings too.
When it comes to cleanliness, it’s spot-on. Every play area, climbing frame, and ball pits are all well-maintained.
Another unexpected highlight is their cafe. Unlike a typical Melbourne play centre that offers soggy nuggets, there’s a variety of healthy options here. The coffee is also high-quality, and many parents loved it.
On the flip side, it’s not ideal for families who want to bring their own snacks since it’s not allowed. It could be tricky for those with picky toddlers.
