The Room Was Beautiful, Clean, Well Designed, and Furnished
“I travel weekly for work and stay at Accors, so i am a diamond member which does have added perks however, this was a trip to take my mother (mid 70’s away) for her birthday.
The hotel from check in to check out was exceptional, acknowledged my mum with love and kindness and provided her a lovely gift on her birthday. From the lounge staff to the bar, check in team, the wonderful Mina and the valet parking crew, exceptional service, attention and kindness. The room was beautiful, clean, well designed and furnished – I look forward to returning again!”

Excellent food
“Repeat stays prove that the staff really elevate this hotel from good to great. Nothing has been too much trouble and small details were observed (like knocking quietly for a room service delivery because I was on a meeting) to my great satisfaction. I’ve enjoyed every stay, be it for work or leisure. Excellent food too. Congratulations to the whole team!”

Value For Money Is Excellent
“Excellent stay in a classic Melbourne hotel. Denis was extremely accommodating, friendly and welcoming. The rooms were enormous with a comprehensive kitchenette, dining table, a huge loungeroom consisting of two x 2-seater sofas and two single sofa chairs. Large screen TV. Upstairs was the king-size bed and stylish modern ensuite bathroom. Hotel also has a very nice indoor heated pool. Value for money is excellent. Highly recommended. Will certainly be coming back.”

Lots Of Space and Bright and Airy
“Beautiful old hotel, room was maybe 3.5 stars, lots of maintenance needed. Lots of space and bright and airy. We had a room on the southern side and the trains are pretty loud. They are really only noticeable in the day , but it’s definitely not calming or relaxing while they are grinding around the corner. For the price though, it was great. Maybe a room up the street would be perfect?”

Guests told us they loved the stylish energy, though some said it’s more about fun than quiet relaxation. It’s a stay with a twist, but maybe not for everyone.

Loved The Protein Pancakes
“Beautiful Mature Hotel with amazing service. Hotel is next door to the theatre which we enjoyed. Best customer service I had ever experienced staff were so sweet! Breakfast was also very yummy with lots of options. We loved the protein pancakes! Was difficult trying to drive into the hotel if you have never driven in the city before. Parter had his car in valet which was beautifully taken care of. Shampoo conditioner and body soap bottles were unfortunately all empty in our room. Everything else made up for it though.”
